Chocolate Stuffed Coffee Brioche French Toast

This Chocolate Stuffed Brioche French Toast is made with buttery brioche bread in a coffee flavored custard, stuffed with premium chocolate, and topped with a dollop of homemade whipped coffee cream.

This french toast recipe uses all classic ingredients - bread, eggs, and milk - as well as instant espresso and chocolate

– 4 2-inch thick cut brioche bread – 4 eggs – 1 cup milk – 2 tsp espresso powder – 2 tsp sugar – ¼ tsp salt – 64 g chocolate – 1 tbsp unsalted butter – powdered sugar for topping

Cut the brioche into 4 thick cut slices

Cut the thick cut slices 3/4 down the middle to create a pocket

Mix the 2 tsp sugar, ¼ tsp salt, and 2 tsp espresso powder with 1 cup of milk

Whisk up 4 eggs in a bowl or baker

Add the espresso milk into the whisked eggs

Whisk and eggs and milk together

Stuff the french toast with 16g of your favorite chocolate for each toast

Dip the chocolate stuffed brioche bread into the egg mixture

Fry them up in a pan with a pad of melted butter until golden brown on both sides

Make the whipped coffee cream with 2 tbsp instant espresso, 2 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp hot water, ¼ cup heavy cream
