My husband and I absolutely love to host for big sports games! He loves to watch, and I love to cook for everyone and watch him have a great time. Over time, we've figured out the perfect spread for our group of friends. For the 2024 Super Bowl, we did:
- Mango lassi
- Guacamole with chips and salsa
- A fruit platter
- Chicken samosas with cilantro-mint chutney and imli chutney
- Chicken wings served with curry leaf ranch, celery, carrots
- Butter chicken garlic naan pizza
- Chai spice chocolate chip cookies
It was an absolute hit! The best part was that everything was easy to prep the day beforehand so I could sit down and enjoy the food and the game with everyone.

Drinks
For drinks, I highly recommend a batched cocktail like a Passion Fruit Margarita as well as a non-alcoholic option such as an iced tea. These are easy to prep ahead and add ice when you're ready to serve.
Masala Chai can be kept in an hot beverage dispenser for anyone threatening a nap after all the wings and nachos they just inhaled.

Main Dishes to Pass Around
Pizza, smash tacos, cheese steaks, and kebabs... there's so much to choose from that everyone will love! The pizzas have been my favorite to prep for a crowd, and most leftover creamy currys, like shahi paneer, can replace the butter chicken for a vegetarian option!
